A-1081 – ASSISTANT LABORATORY COORDINATOR (Part Time) – Montclair State University is seeking a Part Time Assistant Laboratory Coordinator. This person reports to the Laboratory Supervisor. The Assistant Laboratory Coordinator is responsible for providing critical knowledge and expertise for the safety and proper operations of each laboratory. This position assists and guides the implementation of protocols for the safe use of the laboratory equipment and materials by students and visitors. The Assistant Laboratory Coordinator oversees four labs within the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies (NUFS): three teaching labs, which are used for an average of 14 courses and 30 course sections each semester, and one Food Science research lab that includes sensory and basic research facilities used by students in the NUFS Master of Science program.  The position is a 10-month position and 25 hours a week with evening hours required.
